Overview

SUPER S.T.A.R.S is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to implement behavior intervention services under the supervision of BCBA. RBTs will work directly with children to provide high-quality ABA therapy, focusing on skill acquisition, socialization, and reducing challenging behaviors. This position requires a nurturing approach to help children thrive in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans:
  • Execute BIPs as directed by the supervising BCBA, utilizing specific strategies tailored to each child’s needs, preferences, and developmental stage.
  • Engage children in structured and play-based activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development, fostering a love for learning.
  1. Collect and Record Data
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of children’s behaviors, skills, and progress, ensuring data collection aligns with treatment goals and best practices in ABA.
  • Use appropriate data collection methods (e.g., frequency, duration, interval recording) to monitor children’s progress consistently, providing insights for ongoing treatment adjustments.
  1. Provide Direct One-on-One Therapy
  • Conduct therapy sessions that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in a fun and engaging manner, incorporating play to maintain child interest.
  • Employ positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors, using praise and incentives that resonate with each child.
  1. Assist in Developing Social Skills and Independence
  • Support children in practicing social interactions and functional skills in various settings (home, school, community), promoting the generalization of learned behaviors.
  • Foster independence by teaching self-care and daily living skills as part of the intervention process, helping children to thrive in their daily routines
  1. Ensure Compliance with HIPAA Regulations
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma; candidates with a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field are preferred.
  • Certificate: Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience: Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is advantageous, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with young clients.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping children succeed, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
