About Jessica Lockhart

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over two years of experience as a BCBA and several years of experience in the field of psychology prior to beginning my behavior analytic training. I earned a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology in 2021 and Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2024. I am currently perusing a doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology which I plan to use to continue my work in ABA and advocacy. 

Throughout my career, I have worked in public schools, in-patient and out-patient hospital behavioral health units, job skills training for young adults, and ABA clinic settings. This has allowed me to gain experience supporting individuals with diverse needs across the lifespan. I am extremely passionate about providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care that prioritizes client dignity, self-advocacy, and meaningful outcomes for families.

I enjoy the field of ABA because of the opportunity to create lasting change in the lives of clients and their families. Seeing individuals gain skills that increase independence, improve quality of life, and foster greater acceptance and inclusion within their communities is one of the most rewarding aspects I could ask for at work. I was drawn to this role at Super S.T.A.R.S. because of the organization’s commitment to serving clients across a broad range of ages, as well as its passionate and supportive leadership. I value the opportunity to support individuals throughout different ages and appreciate an approach that recognizes growth as a lifelong journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children and dogs. We are big movie enthusiasts and music is always playing in my house. An interesting fact about me is I recently took up rock climbing as a hobby. I particularly enjoy bouldering and appreciate the challenge, problem-solving, and perseverance it requires, which are qualities that also inspire my clinical practice.
